Reviews and Ratings
Upon arrival at the hotel, I found the rooms quite grubby with cobwebs on the ceiling and an old window that was jammed open. The room was fairly small, lacking space with a small wardrobe. However, the location was beautiful with lots of walking places nearby. The dining experience was a bit poor, especially if not inclined towards traditional Scottish dishes. While the service was respectful, there were some issues with delays and readiness. On the positive side, the hotel is set in a fabulous area with plenty of activities to do, and there's a bistro nearby for convenience.
The hotel had some positives like a nice room and friendly staff, but the annex area needed refurbishment. The location was stunning, but dining was subpar with long waits for service. Overall, a mixed experience worth considering for the location and service.
The hotel's location is ideal for walking and offers stunning views of both the river and Loch Tay. The staff was helpful and friendly, but there were issues with service due to understaffing. The dining experience was disorganised, although the evening meal was excellent. The rooms in the annex lacked mirrors and were affected by noise from a nearby utility room.
